I had to laugh, because otherwise I would've screamed. I stood behind this woman for 30. FREAKING. MINUTES. while she price matched EVERYTHING in her cart. Then she made the cashier use all the reusable bags she had brought with her, and ONLY the reusable bags. She then proceeded to pull out coupons for EVERYTHING in her cart (totally not knocking crazy coupon ladies. used to be one myself). The cashier was pretty annoying herself. At one point she asked the lady if she had bought sugar. The lady was like, "Yes. Would you like me to pull it out for you?" I was like, "OH. MY. GOSH! JUST SCAN THE FREAKING COUPON! IF SHE DIDN'T BUY IT, THE COUPON WON'T WORK!" ARGH!!!!!! (Notice me channeling my inner Valley Girl. It's, like, the only way to tell a good story. Like, you know?)
It was while she was doing her coupons that I noticed what sat on the bottom of her cart. Oh hello paper towels. You are SO good for the environment! (insert sarcasm here) Way to save the planet by using those reusable bags. I guess paper towels don't hurt the environment at all, right!?!?
Sorry. I know every little bit helps, but after standing behind this
She probably doesn't even shave her armpits.
What?!?
Okay, I'm still bitter.
