The title is a quote from one of my favorite childhood movies. It you can name the movie, I might just be tempted to send you a little present!
I know it's been a while since I've posted. I've been nursing a sore back. I'm not quite sure what I did to deserve the pain I'm in, but whatever I did, I'm sorry. It started on Tuesday. I was getting up from the floor and something pinched or spasmed in my lower back. Next thing I know, I could hardly stand and I definitely couldn't pick up the Beast. Dave came home early to help me out on Tuesday and my mother-in-law came out on Wednesday to play nursemaid. It's been helpful, but today I was all alone and now my back is pretty bad again. I'm soooo over it. I'm done being in pain. So, I'm deciding that tomorrow I'm going to be all better. Nuff said.
So, thanks to my back I've been making myself pretty comfortable on the couch. I know I should've been blogging, but instead I kept myself busy watching Lost and Army Wives, catching up on my reading (Blackberry Crumble and Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet), and playing Words with Friends. I haven't been doing any projects, or cooking so except for the Beast driving me crazy, I really didn't have much to write about.
I did however work on a project last Saturday. This is the post I did for it (but never posted):
I got these from DI (Deseret Industries) mmm.....about 5 years ago. I really liked them, but I had no idea what to do with them, then inspiration hit. The frame is metal, so I spray painted it heirloom white.
Next I used these handy little things to hang it up. I wasn't sure how to hang a metal frame and this seemed to be my best option.
Finally, I hung up some of my necklaces. What do you think? It's art that serves a function. Love that!
I wasn't in love with it and I was thinking of a way to spruce it up when......
It was late at night, Dave and I were watching Lost. It was a particularly scary part and suddenly there was a loud ripping noise. I started screaming and freaking out trying to figure out where the sound came from when I noticed my new project was hanging halfway off the wall.
Apparently, those nifty little stickers I bought weren't strong enough after all. So, I took it off the wall and cut my losses. So, now I need to think of a new cute project to put there. I'm thinking I need something round or something ornate to counteract all the straight lines in my room.
What do you think?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

A New Saturday Project
Oh and did you all check out my guest post on I Heart Naptime? You should! I shared my recipe for Quinoa with Black Beans! Yum!
I think i know the name of the movie but I could be wrong was it The Parent Trap with Hayley Mills? SO much better than the Lindsay Lohan one. The mirror looks great. is there something out there stronger that can hold it up?
