| Hanging with the Beasat outside in our new chairs from Target. We got one in blue and one in.... |
| green. |
| This was our dessert. Strawberries, bananas, and melted chocolate. Yum! Am I the only one who has an impossible time getting my kids to take a good picture? |
| Seriously, Princess?!? What's up with the pose? |
| Cy. It's practically impossible to get him to look at the camera. You tell him to look and he immediately moves his eyes off to the side. |
| Not bad. |
| Dave finally showed up and was able to have some. Not a lot, but some. |
| One more chance at a good picture. What's up with the bug eyes, Cy? |
| We played a little ipod. |
| Cy practically took a bath in the chocolate. He's such a nut. |
The one thing I didn't get a picture of, but it's a pretty funny story, is me sleeping on the top bunk of Princess and Cy's bunk bed. So, here's the story. After we got home from church I put the Beast down for a nap. We ate lunch and then Princess and Cy went into my room to watch a movie. Dave stretched out on the couch and promptly fell asleep. That left me, tired and with nowhere to sleep. I couldn't go in my room because that's where the kids were. There wasn't enough room on the couch for me to get comfortable with Dave on there and I couldn't sleep on the guest bed because it's in Pierce's room. The Princess and Cy's room was my only option. So I grabbed a blanket and climbed up to the top bunk (it's where Cy sleeps and the mattress is more comfortable than the one on the bottom). So there I was, a 32 year old mother of three sleeping on a top bunk. I barely fit, length-wise that is, but hey it was a bed and I was exhausted. Next thing I know, it's 3:30 and Dave opened the door because he couldn't find me anywhere. He gave me the weirdest look when he found me on the top bunk. It was pretty funny. But, you know what, I had a nice long uninterrupted nap for the first time in a very long, long time! It was fabulous. What a great Sunday!
