Oh what do you do in the summertime.......

when it's a bazillion degrees outside with 42% humidity? Why, throw food at your kids of course!

Princess was begging me for candy and I decided that it would be fun to make a game out of it while teaching them a very important skill. 

How to catch food in your mouth. 

Seriously folks, this is something everybody should know how to do.  They'll thank me someday when they go to a Teppanyaki restaurant and the chef starts tossing meat at them.  They will probably be the only ones at the table that can catch their food.  Then they'll think back fondly on this moment and be so grateful that I taught them this important life skill.

First we started out with marshmallows. 

Then we moved on to jelly belly's.

It may have been more fun for me than it was for them.  Afterwards I poured out some jelly belly's on the table so I could do this blog post uninterrupted.  When they saw/heard the candy, they came like pigs to the trough.

Lunch?  Check!  How do you like the bra in the background?  The Beast took it out of my drawer and proceeded to wear it on his head Weird Science style.
