Lost
Have any of you ever watched this show? If you never have, DON'T start unless you want to be sucked into a world where your questions are never fully answered, nothing is ever as it seems, and you're always left wanting more.
Netflix has all six seasons on Instant Play. But I warn you, it's addicting. When the show first aired back in 2004, I think, Dave and I refused to watch it. We thought, how much can they do on a freakin' uninhabited island!?! I mean, COME ON! A plane crashes on an uninhabited island and there going to make a series out of it?!? RIGHT! A movie I could see but a television series? Ya, no. Well, I was wrong my people. Boy, was I ever wrong.
We just started season 3 and we watched the first 4 episodes in a row. We can't wait for the kids to go to bed so we can find out what's happening on the Island. Are the Other's really dangerous? Who are they? Why are they there? How come Locke can walk? Why did they want Claire's baby? AHHHHHH! So many questions! I want them answered NOW. Once again, my un-virtue of impatience rears it's ugly head. Sigh.
I've been tempted to watch episodes while Dave's at work, like I did with the Office, but I know he'd never forgive me. So, I anxiously await the end of the day when the kids are in bed and without having to say a word Dave and I crawl into bed and fall into the world that is Lost, and until that time comes I feed my curiosity by reading the summaries of the episodes that we have yet to watch, but shh....don't tell Dave, he doesn't like it when I do that either.
*PS. My birthday is tomorrow and you better bet I'm milking it for all it's worth!
*PPS. Stay tuned for my Saturday Project Post about the Headboard from He$$!
